Join C20 Yorkshire for a special evening at York Theatre Royal to celebrate the architectural history of the new theatres built in Britain between 1945 and 1985.

Alistair Fair’s new book will be available to purchase after a talk from the author in the surroundings of Patrick Gwynne’s 1967 extension, of which we have exclusive use due to the refurbishment of the main theatre roof during July. Doors open at 18:00 with the talk beginning at 18:30, the event is free and the theatre bar will be open.
