France: Fricourt New Military Cemetery
Architect: A.J.S. Hutton
Owners: Commonwealth War Graves Commission
Location: Somme, France
A small, poignant cemetery in the middle of a field enclosed by a wall, with only 210 burials. As this cemetery had less than 250 burials, this was entirely the work of one of the Assistant Architects, Arthur James Scott Hutton, who later worked for the Public Works Department in Kenya.
