Job architect was Philip B Chatwin in practice of J A Chatwin & Son who did work in 1936-7 and completed 1958-60 with chancel, sanctuary, Lady Chapel and vestries also by Philip B Chatwin and his nephew Anthony Chatwin in a simple, refined Early Christian style with an especially successful interior with Hardman Studios glass.
