One of only four surviving large-scale English co-op murals from the 1950s and 1960s, the Scunthorpe Co-op pharmacy mural is a vivid, abstract design which covers the whole of the building’s upper façade and measures 16m by 4m. Designed by shopfitters Harris & Sheldon in conjunction with the building’s architect Derek W Brown, it was executed by mosaic specialists O Toffolo & Son of Hull.
