With unusual design and fittings including exceptional dalle de verre stained glass by Tristan Ruhlmann based in Alteckendorf near Hochfelden in Alsace (Bas Rhin, France) about 60 km west of Strasbourg.
Replaced an earlier church dedicated to St Cadoc, re-dedicated to St Peter in 1954 and destroyed by fire in 1959.
