Harry Page Photo Competition

The Harry Page Memorial Photo Competition is entering its second year. Laurence Mackman won the 2013 Harry Page Memorial Photography Competition for his image ‘Vitra 42’, and received the trophy from Tim Page, who judged the competition. It was set up in memory of Harry Page, a long-time Twentieth Century Society member, film maker and keen events photographer who died in 2012.

Entries are now invited for this years competition. So if you are a keen photographer – whether a serious semi professional, or just an admirer of C20 architecture with a camera phone in your pocket – it is time to think about what you might like to submit. The competition is open to all members, and is awarded for the best photograph of a building or buildings of our period (completed from 1914 onwards).

There is a limit of 25 entries per person, colour or black and white,  and you must be a C20 member. You can now enter photographs by email or post as well as on our Flickr site, as follows:

Post: send your prints (minimum size 7 x 5 inches) to the Society, addressing the envelope for the attention of Sarah J Duncan, Harry Page photo competition, 20th Century Society, 70 Cowcross Street, LONDON, EC1M 6EJ.

The closing date for entries is 30 September 2014, and the trophy will be awarded to the winner during the Autumn lecture series. We look forward to seeing your photographs.
