Just enjoying the little catalogue for the Gordon Russell Museum in Broadway, in the Cotswolds. You can get it from here http://www.gordonrussellmuseum.org/. The booklet is designed to look like the designer’s 1924 Paris Cabinet which won a gold medal at the 1925 Paris Exhibition. Its cover opens out to mimick opening up the front of this suprisingly elaborate piece of furniture–much more Arts and Crafts than the pieces Russell is best known for–it’s a nice conceite. Also love this cartoon–Russell was great at marketing. Makes me want to visit.
