Back in April, I led a tour to North Wales for the Society’s membership (just one of the great things you can do as a C20 Member so join up now on our website). The weekend tour concluded on the Sunday with a look at two sites designed, in the main, by Clough Williams-Ellis. Portmeirion, is of course widely known for a number of different reasons, but Clough’s own house and gardens, at Plas Brondanw (see slideshow below) [slideshow] are enchanting and special in their own right and much less known.
There’s a great site here, http://www.brondanw.org/, which will give you all the details and I urge you to go as soon as possible. Not least because it needs to get visitor numbers up if it is to stay open.
