Reports about Preston City Council’s accounts recording Preston Bus Station as ‘worth’ just £1 have spurred an endless stream of comments in the local newspaper’s website. Wonderful to see once again the number of comments reasserting the special place the building holds in people’s hearts and the strong opposition to ‘proposals’ to have the building knocked down – shockingly, without a feasibility study and comprehensive options appraisal!
