Thanks to my C20 collegue Aiden Turner Bishop for this link to BBC Tyne and Wear –reporting that Beamish Museum is to reloate a block of four prefabs to its site as part of a new 1950s area.  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-tyne-17936776.  Although we’d always rather see significant C20 buildings kept on their original sites whenever possible, it’s great to know that Beamish taking on a project like this– I will see if I can find out more.
