Just scanned this Louis Hellman cartoon to show at the Conservation of Historic Concrete course (see http://www.westdean.org.uk/CollegeChannel/CPD/Conservation/Coursedetails/BCMCourseDetails2012/Conservationofconcrete.aspx — its in September, at West Dean in Sussex, and there are still some spaces left if you want to come).
It’s from All Hellman Breaks Loose: Architecture Exposed, a brilliant compilation which annoyingly doesn’t give the exact date- just says “the majority of these cartoons first appeared in the Architects Journal between 1975 and 1980. So it’s not exactly supportive of what I’m trying to argue—but I still think its funny!
