I’ve just been sent a fantastic post card of Richard Wilson’s coach on the roof of Bexhill Pavilion (see my previous blog) . When I went down to see this, and again when the C20 trip showed up, the coach was static—its on steel frame that’s meant to make it wobble and teeter on the edge of the roof. I guess it was too windy for it too operate, so the post card is a consolation–its one of those fab 3D ones which you tilt too and fro–so I can sit and make it wobble whenever I have an idle moment.
Sorry– can’t reproduce the full effect here! We’ve got a piece about the sculpture and how it was done in the next C20 Magazine.
Thanks very much to Peter Wilson–I love it.
