Campaigning for outstanding buildings

Remote Casework Week in Review #3

We are now well settled in our remote working routine. This week we had our first staff social lunch via Zoom which gave us a chance to chat about all the things we have been doing outside our formal weekly team meeting. The pace of work has not slowed down, even though our routines may now differ. We are still seeing plenty of consultations by planning authorities coming into our inbox and have had a couple of pre-application meeting requests which capitalise on the ability to share screens to show presentations.

Clare has been writing a special Easter series of social media posts on Favourite C20 Crosses. If you missed it, you can catch up with the whole series here.

Grace has had an extra-long Easter weekend, taking a couple of days of annual leave which she had planned to spend in the Yorkshire Dales. Instead she spent her days off transplanting vegetable seedlings and trying to decide whether the time has come for a DIY haircut. Now back at her desk, she is grateful to heritage consultants, other sector-wide colleagues and members of the public who continue to contact us about buildings. Special thanks goes to enquirers who send plenty of photos, as in some cases we would be lost without them.
