We are delighted to announce the appointment of Coco Whittaker as our new Caseworker. She is currently pursuing a part-time MSt in Building History at Wolfson College, University of Cambridge, specialising in vernacular and 20th-century architecture and writing a thesis on early 20th-century pithead baths in Durham and Northumberland. Her BA was also at Cambridge Uni in History of Art and Architecture.
Coco will be joining us from 19th October and has said, ‘I am so thrilled to have been chosen as the C20th Society’s new Caseworker. I’m a long-time volunteer for building conservation societies and can’t wait to join the team and learn more about 20th-century architecture.’
In her role, Coco will work alongside our Head of Casework Clare Price and will deal with cases in Cheshire, Cornwall, Cumbria, Derbyshire, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Greater Manchester, Hampshire, Kent, Lancashire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Merseyside, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire, Somerset, Staffordshire, Surrey, Sussex (East & West), Warwickshire, West Midlands, Wiltshire, Worcestershire, Yorkshire (North, West & South), Wales, and London boroughs except those managed by Clare Price.
Become a C20 member today and help save our modern design heritage.
Congratulations Coco !
