In the cinema on Satuday night, my attention swerved off the plot of the new super-grimy and monotome 1970s version of London in Tinker, Tailor….  I was sidetracked by the period-accurate choice of placing of a crucial phone call from within a then no doubt very trendy K8 phone box— designed by Bruce Martin and campaigned for by C20….none of these left in London now.
