Additional notes
Closed as a church on health and safety grounds although possibly still used as a church social centre run by volunteers. Th RC parishes of Sacred Heart, Armadale and St Joseph, Whitburn amalgamated in 2018 as the RC Parish of St Barbara. According to a parish history Sacred Heart and St Anthony was built in 1974 and not 1937 and image on church’s website would bear this out.
