St Margaret originally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
St Mary’s Convent was bomb damaged in 1941, rebuilt 1946-55 but demolished in 2004 apart from the chapel. A new and smaller convent and care home was built from designs from Gould & Co, Chartered Surveyors.
