King provided a new East End and crossing with squat tower (and thin fleche) in 1970-4 for Worksop Priory; internally King (with John Hayward) provided a high altar and a spiky metalwork corona not dissimilar to his work at Blackburn Cathedral (Lancs) and Hayward did a large East window at Worksop (adding to work by Sir Harold Brakspear, a Lady Chapel as a war memorial in 1920-2, and in 1929 joining it to the nave with a south transept and in addition in 1933-5 a north transept).
