On the evening of 12 April John Grindrod, acclaimed author of Concretopia, will be talking about his second book Outskirts: living life on the edge of the green belt to promote its recent release in paperback. The event is the first in our series of monthly Wine & Sign evenings in collaboration with Janette Ray’s architectural bookshop (8 Bootham, York YO30 7BL), where John will be signing copies of his books after the talk finishes in the gallery next door. There is a suggested donation of £3 per person to cover costs and a complimentary glass of wine or soft drink will be available on arrival. Places can be booked by emailing yorkshire@c20society.org.uk. Doors will be open for refreshments from 6pm and the talk will start at 6.30pm.
