Bognor Regis: Seaside design from Arts & Crafts to 21st Century

Bognor Regis : Tour & AGM Saturday 6th April, 2019, 9am to 5pm
Seaside design from Arts & Crafts to 21st Century in style.

The itinerary for our trip to Bognor Regis is as follows:
9.00 am : Meet at Picturedrome Cinema , 30 mins Tour
10.00 am: The Regis School of Music, 46, Sudley Road, Bognor Regis, PO21 1ER.
( Not “The Regis School” , Secondary School on the outskirts of Bognor )
Tea or Coffee on arrival
10.30 : Start AGM.
11.00 – 11.30 : Illustrated Talk : “Modern Bognor Regis” by Sylvia Endacott, Local historian, columnist & author of several books on Bognor Regis & Butlins.
12 noon to 1pm : Lunch in Town Centre & seafront.
1 pm – 2 pm : Butlins, A rapid tour – it’s 60 acres & the “Skyline Pavilion” is as big as Wembley Stadium! Tour: Skyline Pavilion Wave Hotel , Shoreline Hotel & Ocean Hotels & Chalets at Atlantic Bay & Oyster Bay.
2 pm – Walk : About 1 ½ miles including the seafront, see & discuss Compass Point, Bognor Regis Town Hall & The White Tower plus a few other buildings on route (with Sylvia)
4 pm – Tea at a cafe near “The White Tower”, on The Esplanade, (western end)
