On Saturday 19 March, architectural historian Fiona Deaton will be leading a stroll through central Birmingham to discover the city’s Art Deco buildings.
Our tour will range from cinemas and theatres, to offices and civic buildings, shops and hotels.
Birmingham’s city centre is not commonly known for its Art Deco architecture, but this walk aims to reveal the many buildings displaying a wide variety of Art Deco features.
Meet: Birmingham New Street Station, outside Prêt-à-Manger, opposite the train time boards.
Start time: 10.30 am; ends 2-3pm (with a break for lunch).
Cost: £5.00, cash, payable on the day please. (This does not include the cost of lunch.)
