On Saturday 25 June C20 West Midlands group will be making its first visit to Hereford.
Our tour will be led by John Bothamley, Chair of Hereford Civic Society, and will take in the Rotherwas WWI dilapidated ammo factory, some ‘unloved’ 1950s landmarks and the many brave attempts to drag this historic rural city into the 20th century, including its arts centre and riverside entertaining.
There will be opportunities for internal visits to new flats and much more. This will be a full day, with plenty of opportunities to meet other like-minded architecture lovers for animated discussions about planning regulations in historical settings!
Start: 10.30am Hereford Train Station (train leaves Birmingham New Street 8.49am, to arrive 10.19am; leaves Hereford 16.40pm and 17.40pm).
Cost: £5 for C20 members / £10 for non-members
Please note that lunch is not included.
To book, please email: c20westmidlands@gmail.com.
