South West

Walking tour of Taunton, 1st July

1st July, 11:30am
£10.00 (C20 members) £12.00 (non members)

Taunton falls on the vague border between the south west and west regions of the C20 Society. So with that in mind we are combining with the west region to plan a one day walking tour of Taunton in Somerset.

The tour is planned to include the grade II listed old Gaumont Palace Cinema (now a Mecca Bingo Hall), The Brewhouse Theatre, The Art Deco Wetherspoons, a stroll up the High Street, and the Civic Centre. The itinerary is being finalised at the moment and will be out soon.

The day will start at 11.30. For those who can get to Taunton  before 11.30 we suggest a visit to the excellent Somerset Museum.

Full details of the event will be posted on the C20SW web site soon.

To help us prepare, if you plan to attend please email Tony: tonystokoe@me.com

Payment will be on the day. Last minute attendees welcome.
