The former co-operative store at 32-38 Jameson St in Hull was built in 1961 to designs by Philip Andrews. At the principal entrance at the corner of Jameson Street and Waltham Street is the colossal Three Ships mural by Alan Boyson which was Grade II listed in 2019 (see its list entry here). The store is also home to a fish mural and geometric print mural, also created by Boyson.
Hull City Council plans to demolish the former store. The Grade II mural will be retained in-situ and restored, and the two other Boyson murals will be incorporated in the new development.
