4 Dorothy Annan, Untitled, 1961
Status: Listed Grade II
Condition: Good condition
Type: Tiles
Owners: Unknown
Location: Facade of BT Building (Former Post Office Building), Farringdon Road, London
Hand-painted ceramic tiles which depict the various different apparatus used in telecommunications. The building has long been under threat of demolition and the murals have certainly seen better days. However, despite graffiti and bills on various other parts of the building, these murals have never been touched, showing the power of decent public art and the respect that it commands.
The mural was listed Grade II in 2011.
