Farewell Tess: C20 seeks new caseworker

All of us at C20 Society are very sorry to be saying goodbye to Tess Pinto, though it is for the best of reasons. Tess has received AHRC funding for a PhD at Royal Holloway, University of London, to research the politics of architectural conservation during a transformative period in post-war London. Her research will focus on how the Greater London Council influenced the development of conservation and planning culture, the identity of London and how we understand the relationship between heritage, gentrification and urban communities today.

We are therefore recruiting for a new Caseworker to join our high profile team based in Clerkenwell.  Knowledge and enthusiasm for post 1914 buildings are required, plus excellent communication and administrative skills.  This is a campaigning and advocacy role and involves contributing to C20 Society publications and social media.

For details please see the C20 Caseworker Job Description.  The role is full time but expressions of interest from those wanting to work in a part time capacity are also welcome. Salary will be in the region of £23,000 per year.

To apply please send a CV and covering letter to coordinator@c20society.org.uk. The closing date is 23 May 2018 and it is anticipated that interviews will be held in the week beginning 4 June.
