Come and join the West Midlands branch of the 20th Century Society in a walking tour of Worcester on Saturday 14th November 2015.
We will be seeing some old favourites, such as the cinemas of Worcester, whose dancing ladies feature on the back cover of the Worcestershire Pevsner; a 1930s police station, fire station and motor showrooms; a 1950s telephone exchange; and a 1960s Methodist chapel.
We’ll also look at new architecture from the last 5 years, including a boathouse and theatre, with a guided tour of the golden-coloured Hive, the first joint public and university library in Europe.

Bring: sensible footwear, rainwear and sun block!!
Finish: 17.00 with a peel-off possibility at 15.30 or whenever.
