Preston Bus Station Parade
Hello. I pass on news from BlogPreston that there is to be a banner-led parade in Preston in favour of the recently grade 2 listed bus station. It’ll be on Saturday, November 2, starting at 11am outside the Corn Exchange pub, Lune Street, and then processing up to the city’s main square – the Flag Market – by 12 noon. The organisers would welcome people planning to join to ‘book’ a place on Eventbrite website.
Have you ever heard of a public parade in favour of a 1970s ‘Brutalist’ building? Neither have I; but here it is! Feel free to Facebook, Twitter, blog, or write charming postcards with fountain pens, to spread the news.
