Additional notes

Demolished to make way for housing and nine panels of dalle de verre glass by Pierre Fourmaintraux on the life of Thomas à Becket have been installed in the narthex of Our Lady of Lourdes RC, Hampton Court Way, Thames Ditton [Elmbridge]. This is a good fit as the churches are of about the same date, by the same architectural practice and the Thames Ditton church already had some Fourmaintraux glass.

Search churches

You can look for churches using the search boxes or on the pins on the map. Each entry gives the architect and location, and the icons on the left show listing status. Where available, we have included links to more detailed online information about the building, such as the English Heritage listing description. We hope you will find some of your own favourites here and discover some new buildings too.
