If you follow the Sacred Suburbs blog you may already know that there is a beautiful new publication celebrating post-war places of worship in the hinterlands of Manchester.
Sacred Suburbs has been researched and compiled by Angela Connelly, Matthew Steele and guest contributor Robert Proctor. It consists of four essays and 10 case studies with photos, including Trinity Church Cheadle, the Church of the Ascension Hulme and St Hugh of Lincoln in Stretford.
Sacred Suburbs is presented as three folded sheets in a cardboard wallet. It costs £7.00 and is published by The Modernist Society. You can buy it at The Modernist online shop.
